In April 2019, Farm Cultural Park (FARM) invited Nana Zaalishvili for a residency in Sicily, where she developed the concept for Element furniture collection; after a month of work, FARM exhibited several pieces produced in local workshops, including a complex wooden bench, a stool and two travertine stone chairs.
The exhibition was inspired by and dedicated to Georgian architect Giorgi Chakhava’s invention, the “Construction Element”. The exhibition featured photographs from Chakhava’s personal archive, highlighting his remarkable body of work created “behind the Iron Curtain.”
