The visitor center is located 3.6 km from Gudauri ski resort, near the “Peace Monument”, which was built in 1983. (Architect: Giorgi Chakhava, Artist: Nodar Malazonia).
The architecture of the building was based on the idea of ”disguise” from the environment, which is achieved by a reflective glass facade. In this way, the building creates a neutral connection with the existing landscape, while the impressive arcade of the “Peace Monument” maintains a colorful accent on the environment.
